Etienne Godey

Born in France, Etienne Godey received double first-prizes at the Paris National Superior Conservatory (CNSM), in chamber music (1993) and in French horn (1994). He then received a master degree at the CNSM in chamber music (1996). Freelance musician since 1994, he has performed, as a guest Horn Principal or guest Hornist, with the French National Orchestra, the Suisse Romande Orchestra, the Emsemble Moderne etc.. He was Horn Principal of the Orchestre Poitou-Charentes (2001-2004) and of the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra (2004-2005).
In 2012, he is working as a hornist of the Macao Orchestra.
