Presented by the Macao Orchestra in collaboration with MGM, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” in Concert Film with Live Orchestra will be staged at the MGM Theater on May 30 at 8:00 p.m. and May 31 at 3:00 p.m. Under the baton of the Macao Orchestra’s Resident Conductor, Tony Cheng-Te Yeh, the Orchestra will perform the moving score and songs from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, synchronized with the film screening, offering audiences a breathtaking dual-sensory experience that brings the timeless tale to life.

Originally a 1991 Disney animated classic, this concert will feature the 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. The film showcases the unforgettable music of eight-time Academy Award®-winning composer Alan Menken, including newly recorded versions of the original songs written with his longtime collaborator, two-time Academy Award® winner Howard Ashman. The film also features three new songs written by Menken and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice, allowing audiences to experience the powerful and emotional melodies performed live in concert.

Restricted to audiences aged 3 and up. This film is rated Group B.
