Brahms at Twilight
After announcing his retirement in 1890, Johannes Brahms was inspired by the German clarinettist Richard Mühlfeld to write chamber music that included the clarinet and composed the Clarinet Trio, the Clarinet Quintet and the two Clarinet Sonatas.
