Hu Yongyan, founder of the Orchestra Academy, of Central Conservatory of Music, and Principal Conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra, will direct the Macao Orchestra together with Cheong Hoi Leong, a millennial piano genius who won first Prize in Piano Solo at the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia, to perform Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1. The romantic piano sounds will lead audiences to feel the subtle emotions of the ‘Poet of the Piano’. The Orchestra will also present, in a magnificent manner, Forest Murmurs, an excerpt from the opera Siegfried and Symphony No. 3 by Brahms. The wonderful music is certain to inebriate fans, just as the autumn sun shines on the earth, melting sorrow and relieving stress.

There is a Macau Ticketing Network ticket office at the entrance of the Cultural Center on the ground floor, which is convenient for the public to buy tickets on the spot. There are a few tickets left for the concert, so hurry up and don’t miss it!

Members of the public who have purchased tickets for【The Longing of Romance – Chopin and Brahms】 must present one of the following documents before entering the venue:

1. Proof of completion of the whole course of the COVID-19 primary vaccination series (which includes two doses of the inactivated vaccine or the mRNA vaccine) for 14 days (as shown in the Macao Health Code with the “golden frame”);

2. A negative nucleic acid test result issued within 48 hours.
