People will always picture “Serenade” with the touching scene of a young man playing guitar and singing love songs in front of his lover’s windows in the charming moonlight. During the Classical period, serenade not only continued the lyrical and lingering emotional expressions, but the forms of performance were also more flexible. Four serenades of Mozart, Beethoven, Reger and Milhaud will be performed and you will listen how composers of different generations convey feelings through music.
