At the end of February, the Macao Orchestra will present a concert at #OurLadyofFatimaChurch, performing a selection of works rich in Russian ethnic character, bringing the northern land’s chill and grandeur right in Macao! Admission is free, but advance registration is required and available on a first-come, first-served basis!

Rimsky-Korsakov: Sinfonietta on Russian Themes, Op. 31
It’s an orchestral work inspired by authentic Russian folk songs. The piece beautifully blends traditional folk melodies with classical form, highlighting vibrant ethnic colors.
Borodin: Symphony No. 3 in A minor (Orchd. Glazunov)
Romantic and lyrical, this work brims with the classical Russian national styles. Although it was left unfinished at the composer’s death, it remains a beloved classic.
