Disney’s “Frozen in Concert” Film with Live Orchestra

Presented by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Macao Orchestra Company, Limited, and MGM, the Disney’s Frozen In Concert – Live to Film will be staged at the MGM Theater in MGM COTAI on 31 May at 8 p.m. and 1 June at 3 p.m. In this spectacular performance, the Macao Orchestra will perform live the enchanting soundtrack of Disney’s animated hit Frozen, synchronised with a screening of the full film on a colossal LED screen the size of three tennis courts. This extraordinary audiovisual experience is set to captivate audiences of all ages as they relive the magic of this beloved story. Tickets will be available to the public from 11 a.m. on 25 April via Macau Ticketing Network.

This Children’s Day, the legendary tale will come alive on stage with a full orchestral performance led by Macao Orchestra’s Assistant Conductor Francis Mak. Joining the Orchestra will be an ensemble of accomplished vocalists, including Alisa Fox—who starred as Elsa in the U.S. Broadway tour of Frozen, Liu Hsuan-Chen—who voiced and sang as Anna in the Mandarin version of the film, RJ Woessner—who performed as Kristoff and Hans, and Chan Cheong Kin—as Olaf. They will be joined by a surprise a cappella group, bringing the film’s music to life in perfect harmony with the full movie projection on the massive screen, creating a spellbinding musical experience for the whole family.
