On the eve of Good Friday, Francis Kan, Assistant Conductor of Macao Orchestra, will lead the Orchestra to present to fans at St. Dominic’s Church, Franz Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 49 “La Passione”, a piece evoking the painful scene of Christ’s crucifixion through gloomy melodies. In the very same concert, Macao Orchestra’s principal oboe Kai Sai and principal flute Weng Sibei will perform Concerto for Flute and Oboe in G Major by Anton Stamitz, through which audience can experience a philosophical journey from darkness into light.
