German composer Brahms was noted in the music world for his sophisticated but meticulous compositional style. Although living in the Romantic period, he continued the timeless tradition of magnificent classical music. Macao Orchestra’s 2020-21 season closing concert will hit the stage soon. Led by Music Director Lu Jia, the orchestra will perform Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 in E minor and will also team up with pianist Haochen Zhang – winner of the gold medal at the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition – for an intepretation of Brahms Piano Concerto No.2.

The two splendid masterpieces will not only be a perfect closing to Macao Orchestra’s current season, but also give a preview of the Brahms theme for the next season. How can you miss such wonderful music?
