Local young music talents is our future of music development. We will perform with local music lovers and students, with our musicians providing on-site guidance, supporting the new music generation step onto the stage steadily with concrete action.<\/p>\n

Poetry and music have always been interwoven with each other since ancient times. Literature has long been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for making music. The concert fully demonstrates literature\u2019s powerful stimulation on musical works as well as how music treats literature subjects in a clever, masterful way. Wagner\u2019s opera Die Meistersinger reflects on the relationship between tradition and innovation in artistic creation through a story of the ancient guild of poets and singers in Germany; Saint-Sa\u00ebns symphonic poem Danse Macabre transforms the French legend about Halloween into a frenetic party where devils dance; and, Tchaikovsky\u2019s Francesca da Rimini vividly re-presents the fate in life of the tragic lovers in Dante’s Divine Comedy and their sufferings after death.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in participating in the performance, please contact us by 8th October, 2019. Candidates with below qualities are preferred.
\n1. ABRSM grade 8 or above, or equivalent level granted by other conservatory;
\n2. Winner of musical instrument competitions;
\n3. Received tertiary or above degree(s) in your performing instrument, or attending such tertiary or above courses for the instrument.
