\u201cAt the cross her station keeping stood the mournful mother weeping.\u201d \u2013 The Stabat Mater is a fixed form of Catholic music, a tragic song expressing the sorrow of the Virgin Mary at the death of her son Jesus. Pergolesi, an Italian musical genius from the 18th century. Although he only lived to be 26, he left us a beautiful, touching symphonic work before he died. On the cusp of Easter, Macao Orchestra is happy to invite German soprano Anna Karmasin and mezzo soprano Susan Zarrabi to perform this unique \u2018Swan\u2019s Song\u2019 with us. In addition, the Macau Orchestra will premiere the first movement of the\u201cEchos from Old Macao\u201d, created by the Macao composer Lam Bun Ching in 2016, which recalls her late mother and the nostalgic memories of old Macao.<\/p>\n

Tickets will be distributed one hour before the performance at the concert venue. Distribution is limited to a maximum of 2 tickets per person.<\/p>\n
