The Cultural Affairs Bureau, Macao Orchestra Company, Limited, and Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. will jointly present the concert \u201cLio Kuokman and Daniel M\u00fcller-Schott\u201d on 11 April (Saturday), at 8 pm, at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium. Under the baton of the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Macao Orchestra Lio Kuokman, German cello virtuoso Daniel M\u00fcller-Schott will join hands with the Orchestra to present romantic symphonic masterpieces.<\/p>\n

M\u00fcller-Schott will collaborate with the Orchestra in Elgar\u2019s\u00a0Cello Concerto in E Minor<\/em>, regarded as one of the most touching cello masterpieces of the 20th<\/sup>\u00a0century for its profound sorrow and introspective features. The Orchestra will also perform Wagner\u2019s\u00a0Prelude to<\/em>\u00a0\u201c<\/em>Die Meistersinger von N\u00fcrnberg<\/em>\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and Bruckner\u2019s\u00a0Symphony No. 4 in E-flat\u00a0<\/em>M<\/em>ajor<\/em>\u00a0\u201c<\/em>Romantic<\/em>\u201d<\/em>. \u00a0M\u00fcller-Schott won the First Prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in 1992. He has collaborated with numerous leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.<\/p>\n

The concert \u201cLio Kuokman and Daniel M\u00fcller-Schott\u201d will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes including an interval.
