The Macao Orchestra is a the only professional Orchestra in Macao, which blends Chinese and Western cultures, interpreting classics from ancient and modern times, and bringing high-quality classical music to audiences. In order to provide local musicians with professional orchestral musician training opportunities, develop their musical performance skills, and increase their employment opportunities in professional orchestras, the Macao Orchestra is now launching the “1st<\/sup> Macao Young Musician Training Program”.<\/p>\n This Training Programme will last for one season, with the first session running from 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027. Each student will be paired with a musician from the Macao Orchestra, who will provide professional performance lessons, chamber music rehearsal lessons, and orchestral rehearsal lessons, and will also perform on stage with other Macao Orchestra musicians.<\/p>\n The Training Programme is free of charge, and students who are successfully admitted and meet all the requirements will receive a full scholarship.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n The Audition material will consist of the first movement of a self-selected concerto (excluding the cadenza) and orchestra excerpts provided by the Macao Orchestra.
