The Macao Orchestra’s annual feature, the Young Musicians Audition Programme of \u201cThe Future of Classical Music\u201d, is now open for registration until 9 December. For those who are prepared, it’s time to showcase your talent to a wider audience!<\/span><\/p>\n

Each season, the Macao Orchestra presents the \u201cThe Future of Classical Music\u201d concert, providing the public with an opportunity to appreciate the musical accomplishments of young talents and offering Macao students and music enthusiasts a holistic experience of participating in a professional orchestra to elevate their musical abilities. This year’s \u201cThe Future of Classical Music\u201d concert is scheduled for 26 April 2025. To ensure participants gain a complete practical experience from auditions to the actual performance, they are required to take part in the Orchestra\u2019s audition process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants eligibility:<\/strong><\/span>
\n1. Macao ID holders (including permanent and non-permanent)
\n2. (or) Student ID holders issued by Macao tertiary level education organisations or Macao Education and Youth Development Bureau
\n3. 12 Years old or above is required<\/p>\n

Rehearsal and Concert Dates:<\/span>
\n<\/strong>Dates for Rehearsals<\/span><\/span>:<\/span> Scheduled to take place from 20 to 25 April 2025.
\n<\/span>*Please note that the detailed schedule will be confirmed and announced later.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Selection Process:<\/strong><\/span>
\nEligible applicants will receive an email notification from the Macao Orchestra containing audition details by 10 January 2025 or before. The audition is scheduled to be held in February 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n
