\u3000\u3000Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic, and to the fact that some performers will not be able to visit Macao, some of the concerts scheduled for November and December by the Macao Orchestra, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, will be altered or cancelled.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000\u3000The programme of the concert \u201cTchaikovsky No. 1\u201d, originally scheduled to be held on 21 November, at 8pm, at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium, was changed to <\/span>Tchaikovsky\u2019s <\/span>Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, Op. 23<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Beethoven\u2019s <\/span>Symphony No. 5<\/span><\/i>. The concert, with an approximate duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes, under the baton of the Music Director of the Macao Orchestra, Lu Jia will feature the new emerging star of the piano, Tianxu Au. Spectators with tickets can request the respective refund at the Macau Ticketing Network outlets from today to 3 November, or keep their existing tickets and enjoy the excellent performance on that day. In addition, the concerts \u201cThe Symphonic Life \u2013 A Tribute to Tchaikovsky\u201d and \u201cBIG Nightmare Music\u201d, originally scheduled to be held on 4 December and 12 December, respectively, will be cancelled.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000\u3000On 5 December, the Macao Orchestra will also hold the concert \u201c<\/span>Music in Casa Garden<\/span>\u201d, in two sessions, at 2:30 pm and 5 pm, at Casa Garden, featuring a number of works, including <\/span>Mozart’s <\/span>Clarinet Quintet in A major<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Beethoven’s <\/span>String Trio in C minor<\/span><\/i>. Admission to the concert will be processed with free tickets. Limited tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 3 November for registration through the Macao Orchestra\u2019s website at <\/span>www.icm.gov.mo\/om<\/span><\/a> or the official WeChat account \u201cMacaoOrchestra\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
