In March 1827\, when Beethoven died\, a part of his legacy were forty sketches for his Symphony No. 10. In 2021\, a historic restoration and reimagination took place in Bonn—Beethoven’s birthplace—where a team of experts in machine learning and musicology used AI to finish what the composer left us. Another “unfinished” work that captured music lovers’ imagination is Mahler’s Tenth\, of which the orchestration of the Adagio was completed by the composer. Russian virtuoso Denis Matsuev performs Prokofiev’s Second Piano Concerto to round out this programme in which we probe the meaning of “genius” and “posterity”.\n \nApproximately 1 hour and 30 minutes\, including one interval[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text el_class=”white”] \nTickets\nMOP 300 / 250 / 200 / 150[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Book Now” style=”gradient-custom” gradient_custom_color_1=”#ff6e02″ gradient_custom_color_2=”#a34f10″ size=”lg” align=”center” button_block=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fticketing.enjoymacao.mo%2Fen%2Fprogramme%2FP-660194||target:%20_blank|” el_class=”custom-btn”][vc_column_text el_class=”white”] \nShare\n[/vc_column_text]\n\n\n[vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1468908085120{margin-top: 35px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_icon icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-users” color=”custom” background_style=”rounded-outline” background_color=”black” size=”xl” align=”center” custom_color=”#d1ae6d” css=”.vc_custom_1754299601882{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.om-macau.org%2Fen%2Fbe-om-friends%2F||target:%20_blank|”][vc_column_text] \nBe OM Friends \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_icon icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-gift” color=”custom” background_style=”rounded-outline” background_color=”black” size=”xl” align=”center” custom_color=”#d1ae6d” css=”.vc_custom_1754300440206{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.om-macau.org%2Fen%2Fbooking-guide-and-ticket-information-2%2F||target:%20_blank|”][vc_column_text] \nTickets Discount \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Mozart was terminally ill when he began the work\, and several movements existed only in sketches. Still\, his musical genius shines through (especially in the opening Kyrie\, which he fully orchestrated). This concert also features an early symphony by the teenaged Mozart\, along with Lacrimae Beati (“Tears of the Blessed One”) by the contemporary composer Richard Danielpour for string orchestra\, a tribute to the Requiem. The opening eight bars of the Lacrimosa that inspired Danielpour were reputedly the last notes Mozart ever penned.\n \nApproximately 1 hour and 15 minutes[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text el_class=”white”] \nTickets\nInformation will be announced later[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”white”] \nShare\n[/vc_column_text]\n\n\n[vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1468908085120{margin-top: 35px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_icon icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-users” color=”custom” background_style=”rounded-outline” background_color=”black” size=”xl” align=”center” custom_color=”#d1ae6d” css=”.vc_custom_1754299601882{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.om-macau.org%2Fen%2Fbe-om-friends%2F||target:%20_blank|”][vc_column_text] \nBe OM Friends \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_icon icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-gift” color=”custom” background_style=”rounded-outline” background_color=”black” size=”xl” align=”center” custom_color=”#d1ae6d” css=”.vc_custom_1754300440206{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.om-macau.org%2Fen%2Fbooking-guide-and-ticket-information-2%2F||target:%20_blank|”][vc_column_text] \nTickets Discount \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
