Felix Mendelssohn’s well-loved Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor for Flute\, Cello and Piano\, opens with two melodic movements that develop into the following third and fourth movements filled with optimism and enthusiasm making this masterpiece exude a tremendous romantic flavour.
